If Jesus had used Google Maps throughout his ministry, do you think he'd have given up in frustration?

I had to walk throughout downtown New Orleans today to drop off r茅sum茅s at various places...doing so at 94 掳 F was not only NOT fun, but the directions Google Maps gave me pretty much took THE longest routes imaginable!

It was an epic voyage, just like "The Land Before Time"....ughhhh|||Google maps also tend to invent streets that don't exist. And yes they do send you in such round-a-bout ways it's infuriating.|||Maybe it's trying to tell you that it's not smart to live or work below sea level...

NRHH: Look up directions from LA to Tokyo on Google Maps...?

...then look at step 15. wtf?

here, i'll just do it for you:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d%26amp;source=s鈥?/a>

RHH: what is your "end of the summer" song?|||I think somebody at Google is cracked out|||dude just kyak

Sublime - Summertime|||^beat me by 2 seconds

hahahaha... last time i kayaked across the ocean i had to kill like 400 pirates.

rhh: hmm i dont really have one, i was gonna say 'dear summer' by jay z but then remembered i hate that song.. let me get back to this|||I don't get why they tell you to drive up to Washington if you're just gonna Kayak all the way down to Hawaii on the way.

Could probably shave a few days off that trip by going in one direction.

RHH: Kick Push. Has a real end of summer/beginning of fall beat.

EDIT: LOL ^^^ Mech beat me to it..|||I can give you directions in one step, go to the air port.

RHH: i have been taken college classes during the summer, so i haven't enjoyed my summer.|||HA! Methinks the Google programmers are fat.

Edit: Mechanical - I'm guessing it has something to do with currents. The 'motion of the ocean' may not be going in your desired direction. After all, you ARE kayaking.|||exactly why did you look this up? im gonna go get directions form ohio to russia now

RHH:im gonna say summertime- will smith im obsessed with it for some reason|||lmao kyak to hawaii

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekSy5Npep鈥?/a>|||lmao kayaking across the pacific ocean

Asher Roth-I love college|||LMFAO. Google maps is so precise.

Don't Leave from Cunninlynguists and Slug|||My hope is someone actually tries this one day.|||Why would you drive all the way up to Washington before hopping in the kayak?|||hahaha

RHH: Jay Z- Dear summer|||LOL! wow

RHH: Summer Breeze - Dj Quik|||how exactly did you come across this?

Where can I find driving directions for commercial vehicles? (in NY they can use expressways but not parkways?

with Mapquest there is the option to not use any highways but that does not serve my purpose. In NY commercial vehicles can use expressways but not parkways and neither Yahoo nor Google maps seem to offer options for those kind of directions.|||I know your pain. NYC is not very forgiving to commercial vehicles when they get lost or confused. If you have a laptop. PC Miler or similar mapping software for trucks will help %26amp; using trucking common sense when looking at the maps (angles of streets hold clues if we can make the turns or not). Online, try layover.com, a trucking website with loads of information, including routing. Good luck!!|||My Father owns a trucking company in NJ and uses PC Miler.

Where can I find driving directions from San Francisco, California to Buenos Aires, Argentina?

A friend of mine is going to Argentina, and although he has already decided to fly, I thought it would be interesting to see how to get there by car. I tried both Yahoo! and Google Maps, but neither of those sites could give me directions (in fact they did not even give directions to Mexico City. Mapquest did not give an option be to put in another country.

Does anyone know of an international map website that could give directions, or does anyone know someone who has driven from North America to South America?|||It seems reasonable that you could drive if you could cross each border into the next country with your United States passport.

Quality or existence of roads is likely to be troublesome as well. I know you can drive into Mexico, but interstates are not a reality in all the countries you would be passing through. Paved roads are not a priority in countries where automobiles are not the obsession or need that they are here.

Having said that, if you speak Spanish, Portuguese and a variety of Indian dialects, or can communicate in other ways, it sounds like an adventure of a lifetime,

Sorry, I couldn't help with a route!|||you can not drive to beunos aires from california|||i know it is feasible. I would suggest to get the route map at the AAA.|||Just head south, and keep to the left when you hit South America.|||GO 2 mapquest

Need directions on how to restore my google acellerator?

Just click on the Stop Google Web Accelerator menu item. Note that when Google Web Accelerator is turned off, the Google Web Accelerator icon in the system tray goes away. To restart Google Web Accelerator, either go to the Google Web Accelerator Toolbar menu and click Start Google Web Accelerator or select Google Web Accelerator in your Windows Start menu.

If you've made the Google Web Accelerator Toolbar invisible in IE, to access its icon menu you'll have to make it visible again by clicking on View %26gt; Toolbars %26gt; Google Web Accelerator from your main browser menu toolbar.

Does anyone know of an international map website that could give directions, or does anyone know someone who has driven from North America to South America?|||You're going to have a problem driving it because of the Darien Gap, which is a missing segment of the Pan-American highway about 100 miles long.|||I think San Francisco and Buenos Aires are too far from each other than even Google and Yahoo! don't have driving directions. I suggest that it is better to there by plane.

I even checked MapQuest but the "Buenos Aires" it suggests is in Arizona, Puerto Rico and Texas.|||maps.yahoo.com

type in location A to location B

hope that helps|||You cannot drive from San Francisco to Argentina because they are both of different continents. As in matter of fact Argentina is so far that it's in South America for one, but it's in the southern hemisphere.|||www.randmcnally.com

its 100 times more reliable than mapquest|||Just type where u want to go on mapquest.

Here is the website u have to go to: mapquest.com|||You could try Yahoo! Maps and just follow the major highways without getting directions per se. Oh, yeah, I just remembered- I don't think there is a road between Colombia and Panama- I remember a guy was talking about how he was on this expedition to drive from Tierra del Fuego to Point Barrow, Alaska and they had to hack a path for their Jeeps through the jungle, but that was the late 70's (it was on PBS at the time) Maybe one is there now. If not , a ferry might take you along the coast (not through the jungle, which is nice). It's probably a very dangerous trip, though.

Block directions to my address on MAPQUEST/GOOGLE??

is there anyway so that peaple cant get dirctions to my address?|||Blocking your address is impractical when someone can enter your neighbors address or even the people across the street from you.

Short of demolishing one's house and living in a cave, there's no way to opt-out from Mapquest. You can opt-out your address and phone number from Google's phone directory but not from direction finding applications.
